Cleaning the bathroom is one chore that no one looks send to. Often times, bathrooms are neglected. It is cleaned only when you can no longer ignore the unsightly buildup of dirt and grime. If you do not want to clean the bathroom often, preventive maintenance is the key. Wipe down the bathroom after each use to avoid water marks and soap buildup.

1. Detergent and all purpose cleaner. You can use either detergent or all purpose cleaner for the walls and tiles. A specific tile cleaner is also another option. When choosing a tile cleaner, find out if your bathroom tiles are porous or nonporous. If your tiles are nonporous, you can use a product with bleach. But for porous tiles, stick with products containing no acids.

2. Mold and mildew remover. For hard to remove molds and mildew, you can use a dedicated mold and mildew remover. Instead of a mold and mildew remover, chlorine bleach diluted in water can be used. Make sure to consequent the directions on the bottle.

3. Bathroom Gel. There is a 5 in 1 bathroom cleaner ready in the market. This gel type cleaner can be used to: kill germs, eliminate mold and mildew, remove soap buildup, unclog drains and dissolve stains. If you are finding to save a few bucks, test this type of all-in-one cleaner for your bathroom.

4. Glass cleaner. Wipe your bathroom mirror with a rag and glass cleaner. This will take out water or soap marks on the glass.

5. Metal cleaners and polishers. Bathroom fixtures made of metal can simply be wiped with a damp cloth. However, to bring back their luster, use metal cleaners and polishers for copper, stainless steel and other types of metal.

6. Sponges. Color-coded sponges are significant supplies in cleaning the bathroom. You need one color for the sink and bathtub and a distinct color for the toilet bowl. If possible, buy sponges that are specifically for bathroom cleaning. Never use abrasive pads that can destroy the natural conclude of the sink, bathtub and toilet bowl.
